The bigger picture

The answer is somewhere in your agreements.

An answer can depend on more than one line of a contract. The fee may sit in one section, the payment trigger in another, and a restriction in an attachment. Scattered records add another obstacle: you need to find the right agreement before interpreting its terms.

In StarlightIQ’s 2026 Creator Brand Deal Research, a survey of 154 creators who completed 5+ paid brand deals in the past 12 months, 95% said they keep deal information in two or more places.

Fielded online October 5–6, 2026 through a paid, opt-in research panel. The final sample of 154 passed attention checks and duplicate-response screening. Responses and eligibility were self-reported, not independently verified; results are not weighted to represent all creators. The survey did not measure StarlightIQ’s effect on payments or time spent.

From agreement to action

How the AI contract reader works

  1. 01

    Add your information

Upload a contract or record a deal and its payments manually. Review the extracted details so the information available for questions reflects the agreement you are managing.

  2. 02

    Ask a focused question

Start with something concrete, such as which recorded payments are overdue or whether a new offer overlaps with an existing exclusivity restriction. Include the relevant brand or dates when useful.

  3. 03

    Read the answer in context

Treat it as a way to locate and understand recorded information. Missing contracts, incomplete details, and extraction errors can affect what the answer includes.

  4. 04

    Check the underlying record

Compare important terms with the source agreement. Correct any inaccurate detail, and resolve unclear wording before relying on an answer to accept an offer or contact a brand.

What you get

Your deal details, in plain English.

  • Payment questions in plain English

Ask about recorded outstanding and overdue amounts without first deciding which collection of records to inspect.

  • Contract extraction for review

Turn an uploaded agreement into recorded terms you can check and correct, keeping the original wording available for comparison.

  • Potential conflict checks

Ask about exclusivity conflicts between an offer and existing deal terms, then examine the relevant restriction and its dates.

Keep your judgment in the process

A useful answer should help you identify what to inspect next. It cannot resolve a missing amendment or decide what a brand intended by ambiguous wording. Keep your contract records current and ask narrower follow-up questions when an answer is too broad. Review the privacy policy before adding confidential material.
