The bigger picture

Results need the right context.

A recap needs both results and context: what was agreed, what was published, and which reporting period the numbers cover. When those details live separately, it is easy to mix a campaign result with a broader account trend or leave the reporting window unclear.

In StarlightIQ’s 2026 Creator Brand Deal Research, a survey of 154 creators who completed 5+ paid brand deals in the past 12 months, 95% said they keep deal information in two or more places.

Fielded online October 5–6, 2026 through a paid, opt-in research panel. The final sample of 154 passed attention checks and duplicate-response screening. Responses and eligibility were self-reported, not independently verified; results are not weighted to represent all creators. The survey did not measure StarlightIQ’s effect on payments or time spent.

From agreement to action

How performance reporting works

  1. 01

    Connect your social accounts

Authorize the accounts you want to review. Available performance depends on the data those accounts provide, so check that the account and content you need are included.

  2. 02

    Review the available metrics

Look at views, engagement, and audience changes in context. Compare like periods, and distinguish account-level changes from the results of an individual piece of sponsored content.

  3. 03

    Choose the reporting window

Select the dates and connected accounts for the report. Check which posts fall within that window, especially if you published other content during the same campaign period.

  4. 04

    Export and review

Download a PDF or CSV report, then check the figures and scope before sharing. Add the campaign context a partner needs to understand what the report does and does not show.

What you get

Make your next recap clearer.

  • Connected performance in one place

Review available social metrics alongside the workspace where you manage your brand relationships and obligations.

  • PDF and CSV exports

Create a readable report or a file of figures you can inspect when assembling a recap for a partner.

  • Reporting periods you can explain

Choose a date window and connected accounts so the recipient knows which period and sources the exported results cover.

Keep the recap specific to the campaign

A report covering a date range can include content beyond one partnership. Review its scope before describing it as campaign-only performance. Explain which posts belong to the agreement, keep metric names consistent, and avoid treating audience growth or engagement as proof of sales that have not been measured.
